Johnny and the Lizards are a four-piece new wave rock and roll band originally from Devon, now spread across the UK. Known for their witty, story-driven lyrics and upbeat, energetic New Wave-inspired rock, their music has been described as "pure joy." Starting out during the Covid lockdown by covering songs, the band soon began writing and performing their own material, and have since played in venues across Soho, Kensington, Kingston, and beyond.

Recent performances have received positive feedback, with a promoter for Underground Sound praising the band's "real energy" and describing them as a "fun band." The review specifically highlighted their song, "Name on the Pavement".

Their debut single, Billiards, was released at the start of 2025, marking an exciting new chapter for the band, followed just six weeks later by their second single, Secret Keepers. New music is being recorded so keep an eye out for new releases coming soon!
